Dante's Inferno

Ok I've been hearing alot about this game good and bad, today we are going to take a look at the game Dante's Inferno, I'm looking at it on the PS3. First of all it has a GREAT storyline, seriously! Love, Hate, Romance, Greed, Evil I could go on but it would get repeditive.

Another thing your going to notice all you God of War and Devil May Cry fans is that it plays almost exactly like they do. You walk into a new area kill some baddies, spring a few traps, and eventualy power your guy up enough to take on the boss while slashing threw anything that gets in your way. Now with Dantes Inferno you have 2 routes, you can either pick holy or unholy depending on how you want to play the game. Holy is going to effect your magic and you abilities to defend yourself. Unholy well you guessed it is the oposite, that is your sythe and your abilities to attack. Keep in mind though you wont always be able to defend everything nor will you be able to hack and slash your way threw everything just pick what style works best for you.

The sound in this game is amazing, great music along with the screaming people in the background it is truly amazing. Video I think they could have taken it up a little but that not saying its bad it is just not as great as like Modern Warfare 2 or God of War 3. Gameplay, this is a must play title for anybody who has ever even thought they might like God of War, and for you 360 owners that want in on the God of War series this is just as good.
Now do you want to rent or buy this one, I would say Buy it because you have a long game ahead of you not only that but after the game is done you have lots of little add ons to play. I give Dantes Inferno a 8.5 out of 10

Evony

So my review and latest obsession is a MMORPG called Evony. It is a real time strategy game played completely online and is free to play. However can spend money for buying items such as speedups if you choose however you can always find these items anywhere. It is set in the midevil times and you get your own town to build into a massive empire and take over other cities. It does have a steep learning curve but lucky for new players there are other players in game that are usually more than happy to help out newbies, as well as a forum that holds many tutorials. The object of the game is to build your city and to build an army and expand your control out further and become very powerful. You have many groups of people in game, called alliances that ban together and are either friendly neutral or hostile with other alliances. They can offer quite a bit of protection as well as some sound advice when you are starting out and even once you get your feet on the ground. It is a very slow paced game however many builds take 1 hour or more after you have the basics down. Overall its easy going MMORPG and once you have the hang of it the game is very fun. It also does not fall prey to the trash talk most games of this type do, you can make friends on here as well. Overall I give the game a 9 out of 10.

Zombie Apocolypse

Ok today I am reviewing Zombie Apocalypse for the PS3 available now from the Playstation store. This is a 3rd person survival game where you are allowed to pick from one of 4 characters to play as and fight your way through 55 days of zombie madness. You have a few different types of zombies to fight off such as the dodger which stumbles around making them harder to hit, and the sheriff zombies that shoot shotguns at you. But lucky for you there are many weapons at your disposal from your standard assault rifle that you start with to chainguns and sniper rifles. In the middle of all this there are still survivors that you must try to save and should you succeed in saving them not only does it net you a big bonus in your score but also you get some zombie bait. Overall this is a budget game that will keep you and up to 3 friends entertained for hours and gets extremely hard in later levels for those gamers looking for a challenge. Down side, not alot of people ever play the online portion of the game and for those of you that are looking for something that is pushing the PS3's graphics engine try picking up Resident Evil 5. I give it a 7.5 out of 10!
